Top 10 Games of 2023
As we say hello to the new year, we first like to pause and reflect on the joy-filled moments the past year has brought to us, and countless families and friends through gameplay.

We had a blast launching five games in 2023! From early-coding game Team Digger to 20th-century history and strategy game Time Jumpers, our new titles have hit the ground running, and no doubt we'll see at least one of them on next year's top 10 list. Plus, we re-introduced the risk-and-reward dice game, My Mine, with a fresh new look and added features. 2023 was certainly busy and at the same time, incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of the exciting new games that came to market in 2023, our classic games held strong as top sellers, with three titles moving into the top 10 list this year.

Here it is, our top 10 games of 2023!

Corner Center Match by SimplyFun is a fast-paced shape and matching game for ages 7 and up

Brand new to our top 10 list this year is Asymbol!

This fun and imaginative game lets players develop their creativity skills as they select and use any number of 47 uniquely shaped wooden pieces to create 3D objects while the other players try to guess. The first correct guesser and the builder each earn a point and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins! Play Asymbol with 3-6 players ages 8 and up in 30 minutes.

Lily Pond by SimplyFun is a fun early reading game and spelling game for ages 4 and up.

Hop Hop Hooray says the tiny frog that’s learning to read and spell!

In Lily Pond, players take turns hopping their frogs on lily pads to collect letters and complete the words on their cards. Each player practices reading and spelling 3, 4, and 5-letter words per round! It’s a ribbit-ing preschool board game for ages 4 and up that plays in as little as 15 mins.

Also making its debut on our top 10 list is the decision-making game, Dinosaur Challenge!

Dinosaur Challenge is the ultimate game of survival of the fittest, perfect for 2-4 players ages 7 and up. Play your cards right, and maybe you won’t go extinct!

Bee Alert by SimplyFun is a fun memory game for ages 5 and up

Find the matching-colored bee under the hive in this fun early elementary matching and memory game! Bee Alert is the bee’s knees for developing fine motor skills, too. 2-5 players ages 5 and up can play this fun memory game in 15-20 minutes.

Digger's Garden Match by SimplyFun is a shapes, colors, and counting game for ages 4 and up

Learn colors, shapes, and counting up to 50 while you see how many sides you can match! Digger's Garden Match is also great for developing spatial reasoning at any age. This game plays in about 15 minutes and is perfect for 1-6 players ages 4 and up.

Kilter by SimplyFun is a physics game and family game for ages 8 and up.

Players use focus, self-control, and fine motor skills to save the lizards without dropping the golden eggs or waking the Dreaming Dragon! Play with 2-4 players ages 6 and up in as little as 30 minutes.

This top-seller and family favorite game snagged the #3 spot for the second year in a row.

Sumology by SimplyFun is a fun math game focusing on addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division. It's like scrabble for math.

Making its way up the list from #4 last year is gameschooling favorite, Sumology! It’s like Scrabble, but with math! In Sumology, players artfully arrange tiles to create valid equations that connect with other tiles on the table, earning points based on the numbers played. 2 or more players ages 8 and up will hone addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills in about 30 minutes of gameplay.


Now, it's time to reveal the top game of 2023! In an exciting twist on this year's top 10 list, a game that has yet to make the top 10 is making its debut as none other than number ONE! You heard that right. Three cheers (or barks, rather) for Walk the Dogs!

Walk the Dogs by SimplyFun is a math game featuring 63 adorable dogs and focusing on counting and multiplication.

With 63 adorable dog figurines, this family game barks fun while reinforcing basic math skills. But be careful, the dog catcher could catch you first! In Walk the Dogs, players create a lineup of dogs and score points for grouping breeds together. This family-fun counting, multiplication, and predicting game is great for 2-5 players ages 8 and up.

It's no surprise this game is our 'top dog' in 2023, playing it is a dog-gone good time!

As we head into 2024 and map out some of our plans and goals, we can’t wait to dedicate even more time to gameplay and togetherness.
