Hazel’s Helpers develops fine motor skills and decision making. It’s also great for construction craft and planning capabilities in young learners ages four and up.
Players start with 10 log pieces and two cattail pawns. Then, take turns rolling the die—which is marked with various symbols—to determine their actions. Based on the roll, you’ll either connect logs to build their beaver lodge, remove or replace cattails, roll the rock towards an opposing player’s lodge or interact with the ducks–maybe even quack like one! Also, if your roll lands on the beaver tail ‘slap’ symbol, everyone claps their hands to mimic the sound of a beaver tail slapping the water. After that, the player gets to roll again! The first player to use all 10 of their logs to build their lodge wins the game! Hazel’s Helpers is intended for 2-4 players ages 4 and older, and takes 15 minutes to play.
Hazel’s Helpers just earned the prestigious ‘Seal of Approval‘ award from The National Parenting Center! It landed on the Fall 2021 award-winning list among a handful of other tested and awarded children’s products. Read more about the award win, here.
Dinosaur Challenge focuses on dinosaur facts and decision making. Which dinosaur do you think can best overcome dangerous events and natural disasters? Choose the dinosaur with the correct traits to beat out the other dinosaurs and win the most challenges!
To play Dinosaur Challenge, first each player studies the trait scores on the dinosaur cards in their hand. Then, they choose the one they believe has the best chance to beat the challenge against the other players’ dinosaurs. The player whose chosen dinosaur has the highest total points keeps the challenge disk. When all challenge disks have been played, the player who has won the most challenges is the winner! Dinosaur Challenge is great for 2-4 players ages 7 and up and takes 15 minutes to play.
Asymbol will have you thinking outside the box as you come up with inventive ways to communicate with wooden shapes. It focuses on exploring imagination and creativity as you build 3D forms from any number of the 47 wooden shapes included in the game.
Players take turns drawing cards and choosing from one of the two subjects shown. Now, it’s time to build while challenging others to guess your vision! You’ll pick from a variety of unique shapes to assemble the subject of choice. Category cards include beings, places, things, events or activities. Both the correct guesser and builder earn points, and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins! You can play with 3-6 players ages 8 and up in 30 minutes or less.
