Growing Up With Books Boosts Child’s Education Attainment

Books are a great way to stimulate children’s minds and help them develop critical thinking skills. Books add value to your child’s life whether they’re board books or chapter books. A new study finds that children who grow up with books go further in school than those without books. The study reports that having access to a 500-book library extends a child’s education by an average of 3.2 years.
As few as 20 books are beneficial. The number of books a child has access to has a direct and significant impact on propelling a child to a higher level of education. The more books read, the greater the benefit.
